How to create a bootable Windows 11 USB drive in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

1) Insert a suitable USB drive in your PC or Laptop

2) Open GParted and select the USB drive, for example /dev/sda

3) Make sure any partitions on the USB drive are unmounted

4) From the file menu, choose Device > Create Partition table

4) Choose GPT and click on apply. This will erase the USB.

5) Now create a new NTFS partition

6) Once this is complete close GParted

7) Browse to where the Windows 11 iso file is and mount the iso

8) A new icon will appear on the dash side bar. Click on this to view the iso



9) Now copy all the files

10) Paste it to the USB drive


11) Once the files have copied over your bootable Windows 11 installation USB is ready to be used

I am currently using Ubuntu 23.10 with OBS Studio installed from the OBS Studio launch pad PPA and have an Intel Arc A770 LE 16GB graphics card. A collection of my favorite Windows 10 gaming tweaks, I'll be updating this with more as time goes by if necessary. I do not require Windows Search or use Cortana, pick and mix what suits you best. Disable Dynamic Tick Open a command prompt as admin and type; bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes Reboot required to take effect. By default Windows 10 will allow the system timer to go idle to save power at the expense of system responsiveness. For any interactive application such as gaming particularly in a competitive setting, maximum responsiveness is more preferable. How to build a vanilla kernel RPM package Fedora 37

I currently have an Intel Arc A770 LE 16GB and out of the box Fedora 37 does not support it. There are some workarounds but the best option (at the time of writing) is to use kernel 6.2.7 as that has native Intel Arc support. This is a quick guide I made for myself, it will build a linux-6.2.7 *.rpm package in Fedora 37. As with anything in Linux, there is usually more than one way to do things or a better way to do something. If you have a suggestion leave a comment below.
